On 17 May 2012, the world lost one of the most amazing talents it had ever known when Donna Summer lost her battle with cancer. Not just a "Disco Diva", Summer was an incredible writer and vocalist. She has ALWAYS been one of my favourite artists. I first heard her thanks to my love of Barbra Streisand and my discovery of the utterly AMAZING track "No More Tears (Enough Is Enough)". I instantly needed to hear more. Her flawless vocals, both in studio and in live performances, always amazed me. I am so saddened by the loss of this treasure. I hope this mixshow does justice to the talent and miraculousness that was the incomparable Donna Summer.
